It is this time of year that CEOs, managers, and businesses are planning for a prosperous year ahead – developing goals and strategies, financial plans and the like… but what about a property maintenance plan?

Have you considered a plan for your property maintenance… to care for it, to keep it looking good for your customers and staff?

If you haven’t don’t be alarmed… you’re not the only one. Planning to care for your property maintenance can be very simple.

It is important to understand what you want to achieve by keeping your property cared for. Is it simply to maintain your property to reduce reactive maintenance costs, or is it to create a quality first impressions for your clients and show them that you care about their customer experience?

You might want to consider the following when thinking about property maintenance.

How long you want the plan to span for – at PJF we offer a range of property care plan options from 12 months to 10 years, we develop a plan that works for you and your property.

What services you need – think about what it is you want to achieve, if you’re wanting to WOW your clients every time, you might need to consider a fully-fledged plan that could include a full repaint of your buildings, annual low-pressure chemical cleans, 6 monthly spider proofing, 2 weekly grounds maintenance and 3 monthly window cleaning. Or if you’re just wanting to maintain your building or if it’s a new asset you may simply want to go for the bare basics with an annual low-pressure chemical clean and 6 monthly window clean. It’s up to you – it’s what works for you.

Lastly, how do you want to fund the plan? At PJF we offer two payment options – pay as you go which means you pay for the services at a pre-determined quoted figure as the work is completed or if you want to set and forget, you can opt for a spread of payment which spreads the cost of the planned work over equal payments for the duration of the contract. (this is subject normal lending criteria).
